Why study pre-law?
Are you interested in political issues? Do the law processes of the U.S. government intrigue you? Have you ever used your critical thinking skills to analyze and explain the world around you? If you answered yes to these questions, then pursuing an interest in pre-law may be a suitable professional option.
Columbia College has been extremely successful placing its graduates into law programs. Most students choosing this career are accepted into their law school of choice. Many attend The University of Missouri School of Law, UMKC School of Law, or other state programs, and others have finished William and Mary, New York University School of Law (ranked number 4 in the nation), Chicago-Kent School of Law, and others. Recent graduates have also been accepted to and will complete their law degrees from Harvard, Rutgers, William and Mary and other top national programs.
