Students learn about the visual, verbal, and written elements that go into effective public relations. The program combines theory and practice. According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics jobs for public relations specialists will grow by 24 percent through 2020, faster than average for all occupations.
Students majoring in advertising learn the art, craft and business of how to promote brands from an integrated marketing communications perspective.
