Entrepreneurship at Columbia College is a major for the big dreamers and even bigger risk-takers. Students studying Entrepreneurship learn core business fundamentals while cultivating their own visionary business ideas from conception to fruition.
The entrepreneurship major requires a broad range of business courses, preparing students to apply practical business skills to bring their own business ideas to life. Students will recognize the significance of the innovation process, the risks of new ventures and how to market, manage and finance their own start-up business.
Studying Entrepreneurship can lead to careers as a startup business owner, CEO, business consultant, sales manager, fundraiser, company manager and beyond.

Student Business Pitch Competition
With a $10,000 prize at stake, the Student Business Pitch Competition recognizes outstanding business students with promising entrepreneurial spirit. During the event, students pitch their innovative business ideas before a panel of judges. Both undergraduate and graduate students may participate. Ideas may be submitted individually or as a team.
