Columbia College Student Computing Labs

Columbia College Student Computing Labs are open to all current Columbia College constituents.

Buchanan Computing Lab

The General Use Computing Lab in Buchanan Hall 106 offers the following:

  • 40 PC computers with Office 2010
  • Networked B&W laser jet printer
  • One Flatbed color scanner
  • Coin-operated copier

The Multimedia Computing Lab in Buchanan 106A offers the following:

  • Two PC computers with Office 2010 and Adobe Creative Suite 3 (Design)
  • One Mac computer with Office 2008 and Adobe Creative Suite 3 (Design)
  • Networked B&W laser jet printer
  • Networked Color laser jet printer
  • Three Flatbed color scanners with negative and slide scanning ability
  • Two digital cameras and one video camera available for one day checkouts*

*  Cameras are checked out on a first come first serve basis and are available for checkout from the Technology Solutions Center

Tenth Street Center Proctoring Lab

The Proctoring Lab in the Tenth Street Center offers the following:

  • 48 PC computers with Office 2010
  • Networked B&W laser jet printer
  • Security cameras for monitoring proctored exams
  • Software to allow proctors to monitor and restrict student activities
