Community College of the Air Force (CCAF)
Once enlisted in the U.S. Air Force, Airmen are automatically enrolled in CCAF and can begin completing the 64 semester hours needed to achieve the Associate in Applied Science degree. Of those 64 semester hours, 49 are achieved through the Air Force; the remaining 15 semester hours of general education must be attained at a civilian institution.
The Community College of the Air Force (CCAF) transcript is the required document for evaluating Air Force credit. Other military documents may be evaluated on a case-by-case basis, but the CCAF is the only guaranteed transcript for evaluation. Contact MSC@ccis.edu with questions.
Associate to Baccalaureate Cooperative (AU-ABC)
Columbia College is proud to be a member of the Associate to Baccalaureate Cooperative, which is designed to help Airmen transition from their Associate of Applied Science degree from CCAF to a baccalaureate degree in as little time as possible.
General Education Mobile (GEM)
Columbia College is proud to be a member of the General Education Mobile program, which allows an Airman to complete all 15 required general education courses for their CCAF Associate of Applied Science degree at one institution.
