Columbia College actively participates in the federal self-help program referred to as "Federal Work-Study" (FWS). As part of the financial aid package, Work-Study allows a student to contribute to his or her education by enhancing skills already acquired and by providing the chance to learn new skills while employed on campus or in a community service role.

Columbia College has another student employment program for students who are not eligible for Federal Work-Study. Under the College Work Program students are hired in much the same way that they would gain off-campus employment--that is, with regard to departmental budgets and needs. Complete an online Student Employment Application. If you are not eligible for a federal work-study position, your application will be designated for college work program. Due to budgetary constraints work program funding is limited.
