Military Transfer  

Columbia College awards credit for military training and experience based on American Council of Education (ACE) credit recommendations. 

The Joint Services Transcript (JST) is required for all Army, Navy, and Marine Corps students. The Community College of the Air Force transcript (CCAF) is required for all Air Force students, and the Coast Guard Institute transcript (CGI) is required for all Coast Guard students (until the transition to the JST).

Log in to the JST Portal to submit your electronic transcript to Columbia College of Missouri. See the Evaluations Policies page for the address to send non-military transcripts.

The Columbia College catalog details the procedure for waiving military credit evaluation. Note that waiving the submission of military transcripts is an irrevocable decision. Military training cannot be evaluated at a later date if the student chooses to waive it for the initial evaluation.

Military Experience Credit

Columbia College awards credit above and beyond what is recommended by ACE on military transcripts. This Military Experience (ME) credit is given based on the student's length of service and rank.
