Air Force ROTC Program

Air Force ROTC students in Southwell commonsStudents at Columbia College participate in ROTC through a cooperative program with the University of Missouri – Columbia (MU) by attending regular classes on the Columbia College campus while completing ROTC coursework on the MU campus, just 10 blocks away.

Air Force ROTC Scholarships

Recipients of Air Force ROTC Scholarships can receive an additional scholarship from Columbia College that covers 100% of room charges. Up to 10 scholarships are awarded each year. Contact the Admissions Office for more information.

Air Force Enlisted Commissioning Programs

Air Force Enlisted Commissioning Programs are designed to offer enlisted personnel in the Air Force the opportunity to earn a commission.

Columbia College is one of a limited number of four-year institutions able to accept participants in the Air Force Enlisted Commissioning Programs. Upon selection toColumbia College AFROTC ASCP, AECP, POC-ERP or SOAR, participants transfer directly to the Columbia College-affiliated Air Force ROTC program at the University of Missouri and attend the main Columbia College campus in Columbia, Mo. to complete their undergraduate degrees. Their current degree plan remains valid, and no transfer of credits/classes are required if they remain with Columbia College. In effect, while they are completing their application for the commissioning program, they can begin fulfilling the degree requirements necessary for commission.

Moreover, as Columbia College partners with the Community College of the Air Force (CCAF) and General Education Mobile (GEM) program, service members can complete their Associate in Applied Science degree on an accelerated, flexible schedule.
