Our DAYSTAR program is designed for Day Campus students who are new freshmen. (Freshman-level transfer students with only liberal arts and sciences college credit also may apply.) A separate DAYSTAR application is required for consideration for admittance.

DAYSTAR begins the summer immediately following high school graduation and continues to meet as a cohort each summer until the completion of the Master's of Arts in Teaching degree.

DAYSTAR is a four-year+ program that allows students to earn a bachelor's of arts in a content area (such as biology, math, history, etc.), plus a Master's of Arts in Teaching (MAT) degree.
