Fort Stewart-Hunter Army Airfield commencement
The 2015 joint commencement ceremony for Columbia College-Fort Stewart and Columbia College-Hunter Army Airfield has been scheduled for Friday, November 6, at 2 p.m. in the Fort Stewart Main Post Chapel. There is one ceremony for all master's, baccalaureate and associate degree candidates. A reception at Club Stewart following the ceremony is in the planning stages. Columbia College conducts 28 commencement ceremonies throughout the calendar year, including two (in May and December) at the main campus in Columbia, Missouri; the remainder are held at nationwide campuses across the country.
Access to Fort Stewart
Vehicles must proceed through the main gate to get to the Main Chapel. All vehicles without valid DoD decals must enter through the far right-hand lane (identified with a sign stating non-decalled vehicles enter here). To enter the installation all adults must have a valid ID card (driver's license, military ID, state ID card, passport, etc.), current vehicle registration and proof of insurance. The vehicle driver must have a valid driver's license. Other forms of identification may be used by passengers.
